Product Overview

Pall Ultipleat High Flow Water Filter adopts a unique coreless large-diameter design, which greatly increases the effective filtration area compared with conventional small-diameter filter cartridges. The original HFU series has become the preferred choice for large-flow industrial water treatment globally. However, high import prices and long delivery cycles bring budget and schedule risks to plant operators and engineering contractors. Our factory produces fully compatible aftermarket replacement cartridges to solve these procurement pain points while maintaining consistent filtration performance.

Our product range covers complete specifications of Pall Ultipleat High Flow Water Filter, including 20-inch, 40-inch and 60-inch lengths. Filtration precision ranges from 1μm to 50μm. Two mainstream media are available: gradient polypropylene media for general water treatment and micro glass fiber media for high-precision fine particle interception. Filtration Working Principle

Pall Ultipleat High Flow Water Filter uses the classic inside-out filtration principle. Driven by system pressure, raw water flows into the inner cavity of the coreless filter cartridge and passes outward through multi-layer gradient pleated media. Coarse impurities such as sediment and large flocs are trapped on the inner coarse filter layer, while tiny particles and colloids that easily cause membrane pollution are deeply intercepted by the outer precision media layer.

The optimized crescent pleating structure reduces fluid dead zones and avoids media extrusion, maximizing dirt holding capacity. Pollutants are locked inside the cartridge during replacement, preventing secondary particle leakage and secondary contamination of clean water pipelines. After purification, the water enters subsequent membrane treatment units. Operators should replace cartridges promptly once inlet-outlet differential pressure rises to 25–35 PSID to restore system rated flow.
