Pall High Flow pleated cartridge is a large-diameter, high dirt-holding pleated filter element, designed specifically for the pretreatment stage of industrial ultrafiltration water treatment equipment. Working Principle

Pall High Flow pleated cartridge works by combining surface filtration and depth filtration mechanisms. Raw water flows radially inward from the outer pleated surface, penetrating through multi-layer folded fiber web. Large-sized impurities like sediment and rust deposits are captured on the outer surface of the pleated media. Fine colloids and micro suspended particles penetrate the fiber layers and get trapped inside fiber gaps.

The deep pleated structure maximizes usable filtration area for each cartridge, distributing pollutant loads evenly across the filter media. This slows surface clogging, delays the rise of inlet-outlet differential pressure and improves the dirt holding capacity.
