2. Working Principle of Filter Ultrafiltration Equipment

Filter ultrafiltration adopts cross-flow filtration mode instead of dead-end filtration, taking low liquid pressure as driving force to complete physical screening and interception through the tiny pore structure on the ultrafiltration membrane wall. The overall operation is divided into three core working modes: normal filtering water production, automatic backwashing and regular chemical cleaning.

2.1 Normal Filtering & Water Production Stage

Raw water is pressurized by the feed pump and evenly delivered into each membrane component inside filter ultrafiltration equipment. The membrane pore size is controlled steadily between 0.01~0.1μm. Water molecules and tiny soluble inorganic ions pass through membrane pores smoothly to form qualified clear water for subsequent production use. When the numerical value hits the preset threshold, the PLC system will automatically start the backwashing program. The produced clean water is used for reverse flushing from the water outlet side to the raw water side to peel off surface dirt and discharge sewage out of the filtering system through the sewage pipeline. The backwashing process takes a short time and will not interrupt the continuous water supply of the filter ultrafiltration system.

2.3 Periodic Chemical Circulation Cleaning

Long-term operation will produce organic dirt, biological slime and inorganic scale inside membrane pores, which cannot be completely removed by physical backwashing.
