Product Description

Industrial RO skid/main unit is a complete integrated skid-mounted reverse osmosis main equipment. Different from scattered on-site assembled RO equipment, all core components including high-pressure pump, membrane housing, RO membrane elements, pipeline, instrument and control cabinet are pre-mounted on a unified steel base inside factory. Complete hydraulic test and simulated operation test are finished before delivery.

Customers can choose stainless steel base or anti-corrosion structure built as Carbon steel epoxy-coated RO equipment, adapting to coastal salt-spray or humid corrosive workshop environment. Construction contractors can carry out pipeline connection and civil foundation design strictly according to complete RO equipment construction/installation plan. The whole skid unit does not contain large pretreatment tank; it serves as core separation main unit, matched with front pretreatment system. After arriving at project site, only simple pipeline docking and power connection are required to put equipment into operation. Widely used in new factory water supply expansion, industrial park water reuse, containerized water treatment and temporary mobile water supply projects, the skid-mounted design reduces site workload and shortens project delivery time.


Working Principle

Industrial RO skid/main unit operates on pressure-driven membrane separation technology. Pretreated qualified raw water flows into skid-mounted main unit. After entering security filter, water is pressurized by high-pressure pump and delivered into reverse osmosis membrane housings.

Under stable operating pressure higher than osmotic pressure, water molecules penetrate semi-permeable RO membranes to form purified product water. Dissolved salts, colloids, heavy metal ions and organic pollutants are intercepted and discharged outwards in concentrated water. Built-in PLC control system automatically executes periodic membrane flushing, monitors water conductivity, pressure difference and flow parameters in real time. Whether equipped with stainless steel frame or constructed as Carbon steel epoxy-coated RO equipment, the internal water separation workflow remains unchanged. Under qualified inflow water conditions, the skid main unit can continuously meet the standard requirement of Industrial RO equipment with recovery rate ≥75%.
