2. Working Principle

The first stage: Reverse Osmosis Purification

Raw water passes through multi-media filter, activated carbon filter and security filter for pretreatment, removing suspended solids, colloids, residual chlorine and particulate pollutants to protect the RO membrane elements. Pressurized by high-pressure pump, water flows into reverse osmosis membrane housing. Under external pressure, water molecules penetrate the semi-permeable membrane, while dissolved salts, organics, bacteria and heavy metal ions are intercepted. The second stage: EDI Continuous Electrodeionization Deep Desalination

RO product water enters the EDI module. EDI contains mixed ion exchange resin, anion and cation exchange membranes, positive and negative electrodes. Under the action of DC electric field, residual ions in water migrate directionally through ion exchange membranes. The resin continuously completes self-regeneration by electrolyzed water, eliminating the need for regular manual acid and alkali regeneration required by traditional RO vision exchange equipment. After EDI treatment, the residual trace ions are thoroughly removed, finally obtaining high-purity ultrapure water.

The two-stage process realizes physical membrane separation + electric desalination linkage.
