Fine colloids and micro suspended particles penetrate the fiber layers and get trapped inside the gaps of fiber structure.
The deep pleated design maximizes the usable filtration area for each High Flow Pleated Cartridge, distributing pollutant loads evenly across the whole filter media surface. This slows the speed of surface clogging, delays the rise of differential pressure between filter inlet and outlet, and improves the dirt holding capacity of the cartridge. When pressure difference between inlet and outlet reaches the preset threshold, filter media becomes saturated with intercepted contaminants, and site operators need to shut down the system and replace the High Flow Pleated Cartridge.
This filter cartridge forms the primary protective barrier for ultrafiltration membranes.
