Product Introduction

This 3M HF40PP high flow filter cartridge equivalent is specially engineered for RO pre-treatment and industrial liquid filtration. As the core consumable of industrial water filter systems, this high flow filter cartridge can be configured with self-cleaning filter to build multi-stage pretreatment workflow. It effectively captures sediment, rust particles, suspended solids and fibrous impurities to reduce the particle load entering RO membrane elements. Our replacement cartridge uses high purity polypropylene radial pleated media. It maintains the same 40-inch length, 6.5-inch outer diameter, 3-inch inner core and twist-lock end cap as the original 3M HF40PP. No housing modification is needed during installation. It supports multiple micron grades from 1μm to 70μm, offering consistent filtration efficiency while cutting the annual spare parts budget for water treatment plants, chemical factories and food beverage production lines.
Working Principle
This 3M HF40PP equivalent high flow filter cartridge uses inside-to-outside flow path. Unfiltered water flows into the central 3-inch inner core, then radially passes through the compound radial pleated polypropylene media. Solid contaminants are trapped inside the pleats, and clarified liquid flows out from the outer surface of the filter cartridge. The unique radial pleat structure greatly expands the effective filtration area, bringing excellent dirt holding capacity and high flow throughput. When paired with upstream self-cleaning filter, large bulk particles are intercepted in advance, slowing the rise of differential pressure and extending the service cycle of the high flow filter cartridge.

Core Advantages
1. Direct Drop-In Replacement for 3M HF40PP Series
Identical dimensions, twist-lock end cap and sealing structure. Fits the original filter housing without any mechanical modification.
2. Compound Radial Pleat for High Dirt Holding Capacity
Special radial folding design maximizes filtration area, holds large volume of contaminants and extends service intervals.
3. High Flow Throughput
Large inner core supports high liquid flow rate, reducing the total quantity of filter cartridges required in multi-cartridge housings and lowering replacement labor cost.
4. Wide Chemical Compatibility
100% pure polypropylene media is compatible with most industrial raw water and neutral aqueous liquids.
5. Multiple Micron Options for RO Pre-treatment
Rich selection of micron grades to meet different pre-filtration protection requirements for RO membrane systems.
6. Compatible with Multi-stage Filtration System
Works together with industrial water filter and self-cleaning filter to form complete pretreatment chains, protecting downstream RO membranes and precision filters.
