High Flow Series Filter Cartridge is a high-performance wide-diameter pleated filter cartridge, engineered as the core prefiltration consumable for industrial ultrafiltration water treatment systems. No adhesive is added inside the filter medium, eliminating the risk of adhesive dissolution and secondary water contamination caused by long-term high-speed water scouring. End caps and internal and external support cores are integrally molded polypropylene, keeping stable structural integrity under frequent pressure fluctuations and continuous large-volume water flow. The all-polypropylene material offers excellent chemical compatibility and can withstand most weak acid, weak alkali and neutral aqueous solutions. High Flow Series Filter Cartridge operates based on the surface-depth composite pleated filtration principle. Raw water flows into the filter housing and travels radially inward starting from the outer pleated surface of the filter cartridge. Larger solid particles, rust fragments and sediment are trapped on the outer pleated layer. Fine colloids and tiny suspended particles penetrate into layered polypropylene fiber medium and get intercepted within dense fiber gaps.
With optimized wide-area pleat layout, captured pollutants spread evenly across the whole filter medium surface instead of accumulating only on the outer layer. This design slows the rising speed of inlet-outlet differential pressure, maximizes dirt holding capacity and extends the usable operating cycle of each filter cartridge. When the pressure difference between filter inlet and outlet reaches the preset threshold value, the filter medium becomes saturated with trapped contaminants, and field operators need to install new High Flow Series Filter Cartridge.
High Flow Series Filter Cartridge forms the primary protective barrier for ultrafiltration membranes. Without this upstream prefiltration, raw water loaded with solid particles will directly impact UF membrane surfaces. Contaminant deposits block membrane pores and flow channels, accelerate fouling, increase chemical cleaning frequency, and may even cause irreversible permanent damage to ultrafiltration membranes. When installed in series with PFTM11UEPFB high flow filter cartridge for multi-stage combined filtration, the long-term running stability of the ultrafiltration system can be greatly enhanced. It should be noted that High Flow Series Filter Cartridge can only remove solid particulate impurities and cannot filter dissolved ions, so it only serves as mechanical prefiltration before ultrafiltration membranes.

Every batch of High Flow Series Filter Cartridge undergoes full-process production inspection and finished-product performance testing before shipment. Incoming raw material inspection is carried out for polypropylene filter media, support cores and end caps to guarantee batch-to-batch consistency. During manufacturing, sampling inspections cover pleating uniformity, thermal bonding strength and sealing performance of end caps.
Finished product tests include bubble point integrity test, cyclic pressure impulse test and water flow pressure drop detection. Defective filters with medium cracks, poor sealing or loose structures will be fully screened out. The glue-free thermal bonding craft removes the risk of adhesive leaching that may contaminate process water. The all-PP material design also avoids metal shedding risk in filtration, making it suitable for sanitary water treatment scenarios.

A: It is a disposable pleated filter cartridge. Once fiber gaps are saturated with trapped contaminants, backwashing cannot fully restore original filtration performance. Reuse after cleaning brings particle leakage risks, so direct replacement is recommended.
A: It fits 40-inch or 60-inch high flow filter housings with bayonet locking interface. Before ordering, verify housing interface dimensions, internal cavity space and pressure bearing rating to avoid installation mismatch.
A: The polypropylene material has a maximum operating temperature of 65℃. It is not recommended for continuous operation above this temperature. Contact our technical team for high-temperature working condition assessment.
