Product Description

High flow HVAC filter is a modular air filter designed for air handling units, fresh air ventilation systems and industrial HVAC purification projects. Main structural types include V-bank high flow filters, pocket bag filters and deep pleated panel filters. The outer frame can be customized with galvanized steel, aluminum alloy or ABS plastic, adapting to diverse installation environments. The filter media adopts gradient synthetic fiber, electrostatic fiber or glass fiber material, covering efficiency grades from G4 coarse filtration, F5-F8 medium filtration to H10 sub-high efficiency to meet different air cleanliness standards.

As a core intermediate filtration component of HVAC systems, high flow HVAC filter undertakes the vital task of secondary particle interception after primary filters. Working Principle

High flow HVAC filter works based on multiple physical capture mechanisms including inertial collision, diffusion adsorption and direct interception. Mixed air containing dust and fine particles flows through the surface of filter media. Large-size particles are captured by inertial collision, while tiny particles below 1μm are adsorbed via diffusion effect on fiber surfaces.

The dense pleated or V-shaped layout greatly expands effective filtration area, supporting large airflow through the filter without generating excessive flow resistance. During continuous operation, dust accumulates gradually on the filter medium, leading to slow growth of air pressure difference. Once the pressure difference reaches the preset replacement threshold, operators need to replace the high flow HVAC filter to recover system airflow and energy efficiency. The synthetic fiber material has stable moisture resistance, suitable for air conditioning systems with variable humidity. The sealed frame design prevents air bypass, ensuring all airflow passes through filter media and avoiding unfiltered air entering the ventilation pipeline.

A1: High flow HVAC filter adopts V-bank or deep pleated layout with larger filtration area, which can handle higher air volume under lower pressure drop. Ordinary flat pleated filters have limited airflow capacity and are more suitable for small ventilation systems.

Q2: How to select suitable efficiency grade for high flow HVAC filter?
