The cyclone separator is a device that separates dust particles from gas by using the centrifugal force generated by rotating airflow. It features simple structure, small size, low cost, convenient operation and maintenance, and low power consumption, making it suitable for high-temperature gas. It is mainly used to collect dust larger than 10μm with a collection efficiency of 60%-90%, so it is usually served as the first-stage dust removal equipment.
Product Features
It has multiple structural forms including multi-tube cyclone separator, bypass cyclone separator and diffusion cyclone separator, composed of exhaust pipe, intake pipe, cylinder and cone. It is made of diverse filter cylinder materials, with easy operation and simple maintenance, and can adapt to high-temperature gas conditions while achieving 60%-90% dust collection efficiency for particles over 10μm. It has low energy consumption and can be connected in series with baghouse dust collectors to optimize dust removal effects.
Working Principle
Dusty gas enters the separator and rotates downward along the cylinder wall (outer vortex), then flows upward along the axis (inner vortex). Under the action of centrifugal force, dust particles move to the outer wall and fall into the ash hopper, while clean gas is discharged through the exhaust pipe. The separator supports tangential and axial air intake modes, and different structural types can be selected to meet various working conditions.

Advantages
It operates stably with long service life, and can be connected in series with baghouse dust collectors to reduce the ash load of textiles and the frequency of ash cleaning. It solves the difficulty of filtering moist, fibrous and cohesive dust with filter cartridge technology, and has a small footprint for convenient production space planning. It also features low power consumption, simple operation and maintenance, and low cost.
