2. Working Principle of Single Stage Ultrafiltration Equipment

Single stage ultrafiltration equipment operates based on pressure-driven cross-flow physical interception theory, and the whole operation cycle is automatically switched into three working states by the control system: single-stage water production filtration, automatic backwashing, regular chemical cleaning.

2.1 Single Stage Water Production & Filtration

After preliminary coarse filtration by the front liquid filter, raw water enters the inner cavity of ultrafiltration membrane under the pressure of the feed pump. With a fixed membrane pore size of 0.01~0.1μm, water molecules and tiny soluble substances pass through the membrane wall to form qualified permeate water for subsequent processes. Pollutants such as solid particles, biological slime and colloids are trapped on the membrane surface or inside membrane cavities. 2.2 Automatic Backwashing Process

As intercepted pollutants accumulate gradually, the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the single-stage membrane module will rise continuously. Once the pressure difference reaches the preset threshold value, the electric valves will switch the pipeline path automatically.
