Product Introduction
The Cuno high flow filter cartridge is a premium industrial filter element designed for high-flow water treatment pipelines. As an important type of industrial water filter, this high flow filter cartridge can be used independently or matched with a self-cleaning filter in a staged filtration system to optimize the overall filtration efficiency. It adopts an outer-to-inner flow structure and large-diameter pleated media design, which greatly expands the effective filtration area. Compared with traditional small-size filter cartridges, it needs fewer filter elements to achieve the same flow rate, reducing the number of filter housings and lowering the cost of equipment, installation and later maintenance. It supports multiple filter media and micron ratings, and can be applied to different water quality conditions to remove suspended particles, colloids and fine sediments. It is widely compatible with standard high flow filter housings and easy to replace without special tools.

Working Principle
Water flows from the outer surface of the Cuno high flow filter cartridge into the center core. Suspended solids, fine particles and impurities are trapped on the surface and inside the pleated filter media. The clean filtered water converges at the inner core and flows out from the top outlet. The pleated structure maximizes the filtration area, so the cartridge can hold more contaminants before reaching the final pressure drop limit. When the pressure difference between inlet and outlet rises to the preset value, it indicates the cartridge is saturated and needs replacement. When paired with a self-cleaning filter, the self-cleaning filter intercepts large debris first, protecting the high flow filter cartridge and extending its service cycle.
Core Advantages
Super high flow rate: Single cartridge supports large flow, reduces the total quantity of filter cartridges.
High dirt holding capacity: Deep pleated media structure holds more solid contaminants, extending service life.
Low initial pressure drop: Stable water passing performance, less energy consumption for water pumps.
Simple replacement: Quick pull-and-release installation, short downtime during cartridge change.
Multiple material options: PP, glass fiber and other media choices for different chemical compatibility demands.
Wide micron grade selection: Available from coarse filtration to fine precision filtration for diverse requirements.

FAQ
Q1: What is the difference between Cuno high flow filter cartridge and ordinary 20/40 inch small filter cartridges?
A: The Cuno high flow cartridge has a larger diameter and much higher single flow. It cuts down the number of filter housings and replacement frequency.
Q2: Can this cartridge be used with self-cleaning filter?
A: Yes. The self-cleaning filter removes large impurities first, and the high flow filter cartridge undertakes fine filtration, forming a graded protection.
Q3: What media choices are available?
A: Polypropylene is the common choice for general water; glass fiber is suitable for high-temperature and special oil-containing water conditions.
Q4: Is it compatible with most high flow filter housings?
A: Yes, it follows the universal 6-inch high flow cartridge interface standard and fits most mainstream high flow filter housings.
Q5: How to judge when to replace the filter cartridge?
A: Replace it when the pressure difference between inlet and outlet reaches 0.07–0.1 MPa.
