Product Introduction

Kingspan High Flow Filter is a large diameter pleated filter cartridge specially developed for the pretreatment stage of ultrafiltration membrane water treatment equipment. As a high-flow industrial consumable filter, it is installed on the upstream side of UF membrane modules, to trap suspended solids, fine silt, pipeline rust, colloids and granular impurities in raw water. Working Principle

Kingspan High Flow Filter works on the combined surface and depth pleated filtration principle. Raw water flows into the filter housing and passes radially inward from the outer pleated surface of the filter cartridge. Larger solid particles, rust chips and sediment are captured on the outer pleated layer, while tiny fine particles and colloids penetrate into layered polypropylene fiber medium and get trapped inside dense fiber gaps.

Thanks to optimized wide-area pleat arrangement, captured pollutants distribute evenly over the entire filter medium instead of accumulating only on the outer surface. This slows down the rising speed of inlet-outlet differential pressure, maximizes dirt holding capacity and extends the usable operating cycle of each filter cartridge. When the pressure difference between filter inlet and outlet reaches the preset threshold value, the filter medium is saturated with trapped contaminants, and site operators need to install new Kingspan High Flow Filter cartridges.

This filter acts as the primary protective barrier for ultrafiltration membranes.
