Product Description

Kingspan high flow filter is an integrated rainwater pretreatment system independently developed for Kingspan steel and plastic water tanks. The whole unit consists of stainless steel sediment support screen, reusable filter sleeve, external pipeline assembly and built-in bypass channel. The standard filter medium reaches 200 micron filtration accuracy, which can block most solid pollutants washed down from roof surfaces.

Different from ordinary small rainwater filters, Kingspan high flow filter is designed for large-area roof catchment scenarios. In heavy rainfall conditions, once the inflow exceeds the tank receiving capacity, excess water will automatically flow through the bypass channel to stormwater pipelines, avoiding flooding risks around buildings. The filter assembly is installed inside the water tank inlet, away from direct sunlight, which greatly inhibits algae growth and extends filter service life. Operators can access the inspection port on the side of the tank to take out and clean the filter screen without draining the entire water tank.

Surplus rainwater directly flows to the municipal stormwater system instead of accumulating around the tank base. The stainless steel support cage supports the filter sleeve to avoid medium deformation under high water flow impact. After long-term operation, dirt accumulates on the filter material and reduces water permeability. Users can pull out the filter assembly through the side access port for washing or replace the filter sleeve to restore original flow performance. The gravity-driven structure requires no power supply, achieving zero-energy continuous filtration for rainwater collection systems.
