BW30-400/34 standard end cap RO membrane belongs to classic 8-inch brackish water reverse osmosis series, strictly following international 8040 unified dimension standards, with effective membrane area reaching 400 sq.ft to balance large permeate flux and stable salt rejection. Users can collocate it with SWC5 seawater RO membrane, multi-media pre-filter and EDI ultra-pure water equipment to build two-stage desalination system for different raw water salinity scenarios. Unlike special customized RO elements with non-standard end caps, this model adopts general-purpose standard end cap structure, perfectly compatible with all universal 8-inch fiberglass and stainless steel membrane pressure vessels, O-rings and pipe fittings on the market. Working Principle

Pressure-driven reverse osmosis separation principle is the core working mechanism of BW30-400/34 brackish water RO membrane. Natural osmosis pushes water molecules to flow from low-purity concentrated water side to clean permeate side through semi-permeable polyamide membrane. When we apply external pressure higher than raw water osmotic pressure on the feed side of the RO element, the water flow direction reverses. Tiny pure water molecules penetrate dense composite membrane layer and converge into central permeate tube to form reusable clean water, while soluble salts, calcium magnesium scale ions, colloids, suspended solids and organic pollutants are intercepted on feed channel and discharged as concentrated wastewater. The built-in 34mil widened feed spacer generates strong turbulent flow on membrane surface, greatly relieve concentration polarization phenomenon, slow down pollutant sedimentation and realize uninterrupted stable water purification circulation for long-term water treatment operation.
