2. Working Principle of Factory-produced Ultrafiltration Equipment

All ultrafiltration devices manufactured by our factory adopt pressure-driven cross-flow filtration technology, which is divided into normal water production filtration and membrane cleaning regeneration two circulating working modes.

Normal Filtration & Water Production Process

Raw water is boosted by the feed pump to the rated operating pressure of 1.0–3.6 bar and enters the inside of the ultrafiltration membrane component. With the physical screening effect of 0.01~0.1μm micropores on the membrane wall, water molecules and small molecular soluble salts pass through the membrane to form qualified produced water for production use. Suspended solids, colloids, bacteria, algae and macromolecular organic pollutants are intercepted on the outer surface of the hollow fiber membrane. A part of water flows at high speed along the membrane surface to form cross-flow concentrated water, which continuously washes away most pollutants and avoids the formation of compact filter cake on the membrane surface.

Automatic Cleaning & Membrane Regeneration Process

After long-term continuous operation, a small amount of pollutants will accumulate on the membrane surface to cause flux attenuation. The factory’s built-in control program automatically triggers two cleaning modes: regular backwashing uses clean produced water for reverse flushing to peel off loose surface dirt; periodic CIP chemical cleaning uses matched chemical agents to dissolve biological slime and organic fouling, restore the original flux of the membrane module, and guarantee the long-term stable water production efficiency of the equipment.
