The string wound filter cartridge is a deep bed filter for low viscosity and low impurity filtration. It is made by winding textile fibers (polypropylene string, degreased cotton string, etc.) tightly on a porous skeleton (polypropylene or stainless steel) according to a specific process. It has a honeycomb structure with loose outer layer and dense inner layer, which can effectively remove suspended solids, particles, rust and other impurities in the fluid, with excellent filtration performance.
Product Features
It is a deep bed filter with loose outer layer and dense inner layer, realizing graded filtration to capture particles of different sizes. It has high filtration precision with over 90% retention rate, wide precision range, good dirt holding capacity and long service life. It can be made into filters with different precisions by controlling the winding density. It adopts internal thread structure for enhanced pressure resistance, and supports custom specifications to meet various application requirements.
Working PrincipleDusty water enters the filter cartridge, and solid particles are captured by the graded density structure of the wound fiber. Larger particles are intercepted on the outer loose layer, while finer particles are captured in the inner dense layer, ensuring high filtration efficiency and long service life. The clean water passes through the fiber layer and is discharged from the outlet, achieving purification of water suspended solids, particles, dirt, algae and rust.

Advantages
It has deep bed filtration structure with good dirt holding capacity and long service life. It has high filtration precision with over 90% retention rate and a wide precision range (1μm-100μm) to meet various application needs. It adopts different fiber materials and skeletons to adapt to different temperature and pressure conditions. It supports custom specifications (length, diameter, precision) to meet various working conditions.
