Wedge Wire Screen Filter Element

The wedge wire screen filter element adopts stainless steel wedge wire welded screen with filtration precision of 30-800μm. It is welded by stainless steel wedge wire and support bars, mainly including filter plates, filter baskets and filter cartridges. The finished products feature high strength, high hardness, wear and corrosion resistance, uniform slot size, good permeability, easy cleaning and backwashable performance.

It has high filtration precision with over 90% retention rate, wide precision range, good dirt holding capacity and long service life. It uses stainless steel material with internal thread structure for enhanced pressure resistance, and anti-clogging design for easy cleaning and backwashing.

Working Principle

Dusty water enters the filter element, and solid particles are intercepted by the uniform wedge wire slots. Larger particles are blocked on the surface, while finer particles are captured in the deeper layers. The clean water passes through the slots and is discharged from the outlet. When the filter element is clogged, it can be backwashed to remove the intercepted particles, realizing continuous operation.
