Product Description

Pentair High Flow Filter represents the classic high-flow filtration technology of Pentair Aqualine series, covering mainstream industrial specifications such as 60-inch length and 6.75-inch large outer diameter. It is a core disposable pleated filter cartridge for heavy-duty industrial microfiltration, focusing on solving the pain points of small flow, easy blockage and frequent replacement of traditional ordinary filter cartridges. The whole filter element adopts full food-grade polypropylene integrated structure, including reinforced inner and outer support cages, multi-layer gradient composite pleated media, injection-molded reinforced end caps and high-elastic sealing gaskets.

All structural connections of Pentair High Flow Filter adopt thermal fusion welding process without any adhesive bonding, completely eliminating the risk of secondary water pollution caused by glue dissolution. The unique dense deep-pleated design greatly expands the effective filtration area per unit cartridge, realizing ultra-high single-element water flow, which can effectively reduce the total number of filter cartridges and filter housing volume required by the system. It supports multiple precision grades from 1μm to 90μm, fully adapting to different raw water quality and pretreatment process requirements.

This Pentair high flow filter follows the mature outside-in filtration principle, which concentrates intercepted pollutants on the outer layer of the filter media to avoid impurity leakage and downstream pipeline contamination. Working Principle

Pentair High Flow Filter operates based on outside-in cross-flow microfiltration technology. Untreated industrial raw water enters the closed filter housing and uniformly flows to the outer surface of the pleated filter media. Under the action of water pressure, large-particle sediment, suspended impurities and macroscopic flocs are trapped on the outer layer of the filter media, while tiny colloids and fine particles are intercepted layer by layer through the gradient internal filter layer.

After full filtration and purification, clean water penetrates the filter media, converges into the central inner support pipe, and flows out evenly to enter the downstream membrane treatment system. The gradient filter media structure realizes coarse filtration outside and fine filtration inside, which significantly improves the dirt holding capacity and delays the pressure rise rate. With the continuous accumulation of intercepted pollutants, the inlet and outlet differential pressure of the filter cartridge gradually increases. When the pressure difference reaches the standard alarm threshold of 25–30 PSID, the operator needs to replace the Pentair high flow filter cartridge in time to restore the system’s rated water flow and filtration efficiency.

The all-polypropylene material has excellent acid and alkali resistance and oxidation resistance, adapting to most neutral aqueous solutions and conventional chemical cleaning environments. The reinforced internal and external support structure effectively resists medium expansion and deformation under high-flow water impact, preventing fluid bypass and ensuring 100% full-flow filtration effect throughout the service cycle.
