Product Description

Pentair High Flow Filter Cartridge belongs to the well-known Pentair Aqualine high-flow filtration product line, represented by mainstream models ALN01-60B, ALN05-60B and other specifications. The standard size is 60-inch length and 6.75-inch outer diameter, adopting full polypropylene integrated structure, including reinforced inner and outer support cages, gradient pleated polypropylene filter media, injection reinforced end caps and elastic sealing gaskets. All connection joints adopt thermal fusion welding technology without adhesive, eliminating risks of glue dissolution and secondary contamination to process fluid.

This series filter follows mature outside-in flow design. Multiple nominal precision grades ranging from 1μm to 90μm are available to meet diversified security filtration demands ahead of membrane separation equipment. Dense pleated layout greatly expands effective filtration area, achieving remarkable single-element flow capacity compared with conventional 2.5-inch wound filter cartridges. Working Principle

Pentair High Flow Filter Cartridge operates based on outside-in cross-flow microfiltration mechanism. Untreated raw liquid enters the filter housing and flows toward the outer surface of pleated filter media. Suspended particles, sediment and colloidal impurities are captured on the surface and inner layers of gradient polypropylene media. Purified liquid penetrates filter layers, converges inside the central support core and flows out as qualified filtrate.

Large pleated filtration area maintains low flow resistance under continuous high-flow operating conditions. During long-term running, intercepted pollutants accumulate gradually, leading to slow growth of inlet-outlet differential pressure. Operators need to replace the filter cartridge once differential pressure reaches 25–30 PSID threshold to recover system water throughput. Polypropylene raw material provides excellent chemical compatibility, compatible with neutral aqueous liquid and regular acid-base cleaning solutions for filter housing maintenance. Rigid reinforced support cages prevent medium deformation under water pressure impact, avoid fluid bypass and guarantee stable particle interception efficiency throughout service life.
