The whole structure of condensed water filter cartridge consists of high temperature resistant pleated filter media, integrated reinforced support skeleton, sealing end caps and elastic sealing rings. After preliminary coarse filtration by front liquid filter, condensed water enters filter housing and penetrates from outer pleated layer to the central water collecting pipe of condensed water filter cartridge. Large rust particles are intercepted by outer coarse filter layer, tiny colloids and trace oil pollutants are captured by inner fine filter layer. Purified water converges in central pipeline and flows steadily into ultrafiltration equipment to remove macromolecular organics and residual tiny particles. Optimized pleated structure keeps low system pressure drop under continuous high-temperature and high-flow operation, avoiding insufficient water supply during continuous production of ultrafiltration units.
Pollutants accumulate inside filter folds during long-term operation, leading to continuous rise of inlet and outlet differential pressure. When pressure difference reaches 0.25MPa warning value, operators need to replace filter cartridges timely. Blocked filter elements will increase pump load, reduce ultrafiltration water inflow and accelerate membrane fouling.
The clean condensed water treated by condensed water filter cartridge can be used as backwashing water source of ultrafiltration membrane modules. Mixed with compressed air to form gas-water cleaning medium, it washes pollutants attached to ultrafiltration membrane surface, effectively slow down membrane contamination and extend the chemical cleaning cycle of ultrafiltration equipment.
