K-600B0820 UF Module Hyflux Equivalent

Hyflux K-600B0820 Industrial Grade UF Module Equivalent

Product Introduction

The K-600B0820 UF Module is a premium ultrafiltration (UF) membrane module designed as a high-quality replacement for Hyflux UF systems. Built for industrial-grade water treatment, this module offers exceptional filtration performance, mechanical durability, and chemical resistance. It’s an ideal choice for various applications such as potable water production, wastewater recovery, seawater reverse osmosis pretreatment, and process water treatment in industrial environments.

With membrane technology equivalent to that of the Hyflux Kristal® series, the K-600B0820 ensures consistent and reliable removal of suspended solids, bacteria, colloids, and other fine particulates, providing superior permeate quality with minimal energy consumption and operational maintenance.

Working Principle

The K-600B0820 module operates on a hollow fiber outside-in filtration mechanism:

1.    Feed Water Flow
Raw or partially treated water is introduced to the outside of the hollow fiber membrane.

2.    Filtration Process
As the water flows from the outside to the inside of the fiber, impurities larger than 0.03 μm (including suspended solids, bacteria, and colloids) are physically rejected by the membrane.

3.    Permeate Collection
The filtered water (permeate) flows into the center of the fiber and is collected for further use or processing.

4.    Automatic Cleaning
The system supports backwash and air scouring cycles to clean the membrane surface and maintain performance over time.

This filtration mechanism allows for high efficiency in solid-liquid separation, ensuring reliable operation even with challenging feedwater characteristics.

Key Features

Hyflux-Compatible Design

Fully compatible with Hyflux Kristal® K-series modules, allowing for easy integration or direct replacement without the need for system redesign.

High-Strength Hollow Fiber Membrane

Constructed from polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), the fibers offer high tensile strength and excellent resistance to fouling, breakage, and chemical degradation.

Superior Filtration Performance

Nominal pore size of 0.03 µm enables the removal of more than 99.99% of bacteria and 99.9% of viruses, with permeate turbidity consistently below 0.1 NTU.

Wide pH Tolerance

Operates efficiently across a pH range of 4–10, with cleaning possible in the 2–12 pH range using standard chemical protocols.

Energy Efficiency

Low transmembrane pressure requirements (typically 0.1–0.3 MPa) reduce energy consumption and operational costs.

Longevity and Durability

Engineered for a service life of 5–7 years under normal operating conditions, with minimal fouling and long cleaning intervals.
