Working Principle

The HYDRAcap®MAX80 module uses the outside-in hollow fiber filtration method, a proven design that provides high-capacity water treatment with excellent contaminant rejection.

Filtration Process:

1.    Feed water flows into the module’s outer shell and passes around the outside of each hollow fiber.

2.    Suspended particles, bacteria, viruses, and turbidity are captured on the outer membrane surface.

3.    Filtered water, or permeate, passes through the 0.03-micron pores of the PES membrane and is collected inside the hollow fibers.

4.    The clean water then exits through the module’s outlet for downstream use.

5.    The module is equipped with automatic cleaning functions, including backwash, air scour, and chemical cleaning-in-place (CIP) to ensure stable long-term operation.
