Working Principle

The HYDRAcap®MAX60 UF module operates on the outside-in filtration principle using hollow fiber membranes. This method ensures effective contaminant removal while minimizing clogging and energy use.

1.    Raw water enters the module shell and flows around the exterior of the hollow fiber membranes.

2.    Contaminants like suspended solids, bacteria, viruses, and colloids are retained on the membrane’s outer surface.

3.    Permeate (clean water) passes through the 0.03 µm membrane pores and is collected inside the fiber lumens.

4.    The filtered water is directed out of the module for further use or processing.
