What Makes PTFE Membrane Unique?
Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is a fluoropolymer with exceptional properties. When engineered into a microporous membrane, it creates a coalescing medium with distinct advantages:

  1. Absolute Filtration & Ultra-High Efficiency: Unlike depth media which operates on a probability basis, the membrane acts as a fixed-pore barrier. It delivers >99.99+% efficiency on droplets and particles larger than its pore size (e.g., 0.1, 0.2, 0.5 micron), guaranteeing a consistent, predictable outlet quality.

  2. Broad Chemical Compatibility: PTFE is virtually inert. It resists attack from nearly all aggressive chemicals, strong acids, bases, and solvents, making it the safest choice for challenging process streams.
